Why it works
Skin-first, cream-based, blended with fingers. This is the face I wear most days and the exact order I apply it in.

Primer only on the T-zone and around the nose — full-face primer makes everything slide by lunch.
Skin tint or tinted moisturiser over a damp sponge. Build only where you need it: around the nose, chin and under the eyes.
One dot on the apples, blended up toward the temples with fingers. Cream over cream melts in; cream over powder goes patchy.
Sara's tip: Blush high toward the temples lifts the whole face.
A soft '3' from the temple down to the jaw. Warmth, not contour — you're bringing back the shadow the base erased.
Brush brows up with clear gel, one coat of mascara, and a lip oil or tint blotted in. Nothing else needs to be sharp.
A press of powder on the T-zone, then a setting spray to melt the powder edges back into skin.
Sara's tip: Setting spray after powder is what makes the whole face look like skin again.
