Sunday reset routine checklist: a 3-hour self-care night — fresh sheets, hair mask, Epsom salt bath, body scrub, collagen mask, silk pillowcase, Amazon picks.

The Sunday reset routine, in order: 1) 20-minute tidy and fresh sheets, 2) Olaplex No.3 in dry hair, 3) 30-minute lavender Epsom salt bath with a body brush and Tree Hut scrub, 4) Bum Bum Cream head to toe, 5) shower and wash out the hair mask, 6) Biodance overnight collagen mask, 7) Laneige lip mask, 8) sunset lamp, waffle blanket, pillow spray, silk pillowcase, phone away by 10pm. About three hours, mostly lying down.
Sunday reset isn't about productivity — it's about walking into Monday with clean sheets, soft skin, a hair mask done and a brain that isn't buzzing. This is my exact routine, refined over a year of trying every viral self-care night on TikTok. It's cozy, it's cheap, and by the end you feel like a new person.
Everything below is on Amazon; most of it you'll buy once and use for months.
What is a Sunday reset routine?
A Sunday reset routine is a weekly self-care block that resets your space and body before Monday: tidy and change the sheets, apply a hair mask, take a 30-minute bath with a body scrub, moisturize, do an overnight face mask, then wind down with dim light and phone away by 10pm. It takes about three hours.
Hour one: the space
Set a 20-minute timer. Strip the bed, start the wash, clear surfaces, light a candle. Put clean sheets and a fresh silk pillowcase on. Turn the sunset lamp on and the overhead light off — the reset is 50% lighting. Put on the playlist, put the phone on the charger in another room.
Hour two: hair and bath
Apply Olaplex No.3 to damp hair root to tip and clip it up — it works while you soak. Run a warm bath with two cups of Dr Teal's Lavender Epsom salt. Before getting in, dry-brush in long strokes toward the heart (two minutes — it's the fastest glow trick there is). In the bath, exfoliate with Tree Hut Coco Colada shea sugar scrub, then just… lie there for 20 minutes.
Shower off, shampoo and condition out the mask, wrap hair in a microfiber towel, and apply Bum Bum Cream while skin is still damp so it seals in the water.
Hour three: face, lips, sleep
Do your usual cleanse and toner, then the Biodance Bio-Collagen mask — the hydrogel one that turns clear overnight — and Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. Spritz the pillow with This Works Deep Sleep spray, get under the waffle blanket, read ten pages of a real book, and be asleep by 10:30. That's it. That's the reset.
Make it a ritual, not a chore
Keep everything in one basket in the bathroom so there's zero setup. If you only have 45 minutes, do the sheets, the bath, the body cream and the lip mask — the four highest-impact steps. Consistency matters more than completeness; the goal is that Sunday night feels like something to look forward to.

Questions readers ask
What is a Sunday reset routine?
A weekly self-care ritual — usually Sunday evening — that combines tidying, fresh sheets, a bath or shower, body and hair treatments, a face mask and an early night so the week starts calm and organized.
How long should a Sunday reset take?
Two to three hours for the full version. A 45-minute version covers fresh sheets, a bath or shower, body cream and a lip mask.
What do I need for a self-care night at home?
Epsom salt, a body scrub, a rich body cream, a hair mask, a sheet or hydrogel face mask, a lip mask, a pillow spray and clean bedding. Everything above is on Amazon for under $50 apiece.
Is dry brushing actually worth it?
For skin texture and a temporary glow, yes — two minutes before a bath exfoliates and boosts circulation. It won't remove cellulite permanently despite what TikTok says.
What's the best overnight face mask for a Sunday reset?
The Biodance Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask is the most popular — a hydrogel that stays on for hours and turns transparent as it absorbs, leaving skin plump and bouncy the next morning.
